hosted by The Greater Dallas INDO-AMERICAN Chamber of Commerce

1st Annual

The Greater Dallas INDO-AMERICAN Chamber of Commerce firmly believes in the benefits of education as a path to improved economic opportunity and personal fulfillment.

Fore! Education will help support several chamber educational programs including financial scholarships to high school graduates attending college, financial scholarships to full-time college students and stipends for international MBA students.

Research by leading economists have long recognized and measured the lifetime benefits of education. More recently, however, economists have begun to study the effects of education on other personal and social outcomes. A growing body of evidence surveyed discuss that education can reduce crime, improve health, lower mortality, and increase political participation. The implied social benefits from these impacts can be sizeable.

The chamber is developing a regional after-school tutoring program targeting high school and junior high school students. The program will be introduced initially through the local organization then extended to other non-profit organizations and school districts.
